Louisiana’s Outspoken Coalition for Ales and Lagers, or LOCAL for short, is organized to create a forum for enthusiasts of Louisiana Craft Beer and supporters of local Louisiana culture. The Louisiana Craft Brewers Guild’s mission is to increase the public’s awareness of all of the benefits that Louisiana craft beer has to offer, and that starts with support from LOCALs.

LOCAL keeps members in touch with brewing-related events throughout Louisiana, and offers special incentives for membership. Becoming a LOCAL entitles you to certain exclusive benefits, including a LOCAL t-shirt and sticker and an invitation to the annual membership meeting held in December.

Open to breweries in-planning and licensed, operating breweries throughout the state of Louisiana. Only operating breweries will be granted voting privileges. Dues are based on annual production.

This membership is designed for companies or individuals that supply goods and services to our brewing members. Allied members may include malt suppliers, equipment manufacturers, can and glassware suppliers, brand marketing companies, and more. If your business directly supports craft brewing in Louisiana, this is your membership. Membership cost is $500 per year.
